  3. Thank you to everyone who helped to stage the Exhibition. We had 4 wonderful days meeting people from all over the area. Several were interested in knitting their own Tree next year. How super that others want to knit and spread the skill.
So far we have raised £3,000 for 'Help for Heroes'
We are continuing to raise money with the tree until the New Year and the Church is open each morning from 9am to 1pm so you can still view the tree.
We had 1902 leaves on the tree and Ted made 152 pompoms which were guessing games to raise funds.

  12. What a good idea and an excellent way to raise funds for Help for Heroes. If knitting was regarded as a dying art it has now been resurrected and people are really enjoing themselves at the same time. Keep up the good work for this very worthy cause.
